Autumn brings an abundance of food from the harvest. Bishops Palace has its own kitchen gardens and allotments. Working with produce grown on site we will learn how to create beautiful detailed drawings using colour with colouring pencils and felt tip pens of the root vegetables found at this time of year from red onions to squashes. The morning session will be spent learning about how to blend with colouring pencils and the afternoon will be applying that knowledge to some of the produce. Gemma Lane will guide you through this process and encourage you to work with colour in different ways. The session includes all materials apart from a sketchbook. Make sure you bring a packed lunch.
