Botanical Watercolour workshop

  • Stourhead The Spread Eagle Courtyard, Stourton, Warminster BA12 6QE (map)

Come and spend a wonderful day at Strourhead National Trust. Working from cut foliage from the grounds, learn how to use watercolour to create botanical studies of the plants in season in this one off art workshop with Gemma Lane from Green Fox Workshops.

When: Monday 12th May @ 10.30am-3.30pm

Where: Memorial Hall, Stourhead National Trust

Watercolor botanicals combine the natural beauty of plants with the flowing qualities of water-based paints. This art captures the fine details of flowers, leaves, and stems using soft washes and bright colours.

In this workshop you will learn about different watercolour techniques in a step by step method with Gemma guiding you at each stage. At the end of the day you will leave with a piece of work you will be proud of. Includes all materials for £65.

Does not include lunch, participants are welcome to bring their own or buy lunch from the cafe hut next to the memorial hall.
